Japanese Kajimoto Laboratory has designed a device which lets people transmit the feeling of a kiss through a motor driven device.If you take one device in your mouth and turn it with your tongue, the other device turns in the same way. If you turn it back the other way, then your partner’s turns back the same way, so your partner’s device turns whichever way your own device turns. This way the device is supposed to transmit the representational kiss between the lovers.
The theory is that while following a zig-zag trail between displays of minimalist Swedish furniture, a disorientated Ikea customer feels compelled to pick up a few extra impulse purchases.
